Biography

James Bridger, born 1961 in Toms River, New Jersey, found his niche in landscapes, aviary, and nature early in his life.

After mastering realism, Mr. Bridger's early works in oil began to display his hyperrealist technique.  He painted outside the lines with a faster, fresher form. In addition to this he locked in on the palette knife as his instrument of choice, with a smooth board and acrylics as substrate and medium of choice respectively.

Mr. Bridger became interested in Monet’s impression of light; hence his impressionist abstract style was developed.
